Daar is sekere basiese goed wat jy in jou yskas moet he.Hierdie is een van daai!
Maklike ingelegde rooi uie.Daai pienk, crunchy uie wat alles mooier maak en elke happie bietjie sass gee. Perfek op avo toast, burgers, braaivleis, taco’s, wraps - noem dit.
En een keer as jy dit self maak… koop jy dit nooit weer in ’n winkel nie.
Hoe maak jy dit?

Ek sny twee groot rooi uie in dun skywe. Dan meng ek 75ml appelasyn, 75ml rysasyn en 100ml wit asyn saam met 1 eetlepel suiker, 1 teelepel sout en 50ml warm water totdat alles opgelos is. Die uie gaan in ’n skoon bottel saam met swartpeperkorrels en mosterdsaad, en dan gooi ek die afgekoelde pekelsous oor. Stoor dit in die yskas.
PS: As jy nie rysasyn kry nie, gebruik net 150ml appelasyn.
Bestanddele:
1 groot rooi ui, dun gesny
75ml appelasyn
75ml ryswyn asyn
100ml wit asyn
50ml warm water
1 ½ teelepel sout
1 eetlepel suiker
Opsioneel vir ekstra geur
½ teelepel swartpeperkorrels
1 klein knoffelhuisie, dun gesny
½ teelepel mosterdsaad
’n paar takkies tiemie of oregano
Metode:
Stap 1
Plaas die gesnyde uie in ’n skoon glasfles.
Stap 2
Meng die asyn, warm water, sout en suiker in ’n aparte bak totdat alles opgelos is.
Stap 3
Gooi die afgekoelde mengsel oor die uie — maak seker hulle is heeltemal bedek.
Stap 4
Voeg opsionele speserye of kruie by vir ekstra geur.
Stap 5
Laat dit vir 30–60 minute op kamertemperatuur staan (die kleur word helderder terwyl dit intrek).
Stap 6
Bêre in die yskas en gebruik binne 2 weke
